Homelessness abounds. Remember, you are in competition with foreign folks and corporate entities with massive wealth when seeking a house to buy. Those with immense wealth compete for housing they rent out to garner even more profit. Housing costs, both buying and renting, are complex issues far beyond what I can understand or convey here. I will sum it up with this… the USA economic system is a huge scam purposefully designed by highly intelligent very wealthy folks to benefit a small minority of the populace. The average USA resident is a pawn in a game where we are basically powerless. Do the best you can to be as comfortable as you can.
